Designing a brand new line of products (headphones) to fit the brand identity of a company and its demographic

For this project I chose Topo Designs, an outdoor lifestyle brand that specializes in backpacks, bags, and apparel

An outdoor brand that embraces utilitarian and simple design

getting to know the brand

I studied Topo Designs for a better understanding of their philosophy, audience, and design language.

I compared portable travel headphones with varying mechanisms

The results showed that headphones made specifically for the outdoors are a fairly untouched market.

- Easy folding mechanism

Cons:

- Large folded state

Pros:

- Total area fairly small

Cons:

- Folded state could be smaller

- Innovative rotating mechanism

Cons:

- Not very adjustable
